Websense Network Agent 将无法侦测及阻挡 Gmail Chat 协议的流量，主要原因是因为谷哥(Google)宣布自从 2010 年 1 月开始所有的 Gmail 流量均会进行加密，以确保用户在 Wi-Fi 环境的安全性，因为 Websense 无法侦测被加密的 Gmail 流量，所以无法对 Gamil Chat 流量进行管理。
在 Websense Web Security 或 Websense Web Filter 产品线，目前并没有好的解决方法，建议你可使用 Websense Web Security Gateway v7.5(含)以上版本来管控 Gmail Chat 流量。Websense Web Security Gateway 可以支持及控管 HTTPS 流量，所以同样也可以控管 Gmail Chat 流量。
