Symantec 发布 IM Manager V8.4.13

赛门铁克已经释出 IM Manager V8.4.13(Build 8.4.1362, February 11th, 2010)，该版本可以赛门铁克 File Connect 处下载，也可以在我们的网站进行下载；只要您的 IM Manager License 只要在有效期之内，均可进行软件更新。

Symantec IM Manager V8.4.13 主要解决下述问题：

  • XSS Vulnerabilities in the WebUI.
  • Upgrade the Verity to version 10.9.
  • Bulk EV exports run at midnight even when configured to run at other.
  • MSN Protocol - suspicious memory corruption causing code.

Symantec IM Manager V8.4.12 主要解决下述问题：

  • AIM 6.9 IM client can not log in through IM Manager.
  • Customer can bypass Content filter policy by adding a IM Manager notification message text at the end of the sentence.
  • Yahoo File Transfer fails between two internal Yahoo IM Clients.

赛门铁克已经释出 IM Manager V8.4.11(Build 8.4.1328, April 1st. 2009)，该版本可以赛门铁克 File Connect 处下载，您的 IM Manager License 只要在有效期之内，均可进行软件更新。

Symantec IM Manager V8.4.11 主要包含下述更新：

  • 支持 Windows Live Messenger (WLM) 2009，但部份功能未支持(详情)。
  • 修正透过 Exchange Server 汇出谈话内容至 EV 时，该内容为空值(详情)。

2009 年 1 月29 日起 AIM 6.8 用户无法透过 IM Manager 登入

问题：
AIM 6.8 用户无法登入，而已登入的用户则可正常使用。

原因：
AOL 在 2009 年 1 月 29 日更改 kdc.uas.aol.com 的凭证，此异动有更改该凭证中的 Email 位址，而 IM Manager 会检查特定的 Email 位址，因为主机名和 Email 位址并没有匹配，会导致 IM Manager 无法成功与 kdc.uas.aol.com 进行 SSL 沟通。
AOL changed the certificate for kdc.uas.aol.com on January 9, 2009. The change was to the email addresses specified in the certificate. IM Manager is checking for a specific email address. IM Manager was failing the SSL negotiation with kdc.uas.aol.com because the hostname and email address combination did not match.

Symantec 发布 IM Manager V8.4.9

赛门铁克近日发布 IM Manager V8.4.9，只要是 IM Manager 的原有客户或有兴趣的客户，均可在赛门铁克网站下载该版本。V8.4.9 主要是已知问题的修正及加强对 Yahoo 9.0 的支持，对 MSN 9.0 Beta 仍尚未支持。

关於 2008年7月23日 IM Manager 无法登入 MSN 事件

从 2008 年 7 月 22 日即零星发现使用 IM Manager 的用户有部份的人无法登入 MSN，到了 7 月 23 日即发现大部份的用户均无法登入 MSN Messenger，当用户尝试使用 Windows Live Messenger 登入时，会显示下述的错误：

"Signing in to Windows Live Messenger failed because the service is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later."
Error Code: 8100030d
或
"Signing in to Windows Live Messenger failed because the service is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later."
Error Code: 81000395
